These are the photos from my drive home (NJ → Pgh) on Christmas Eve, 2003. It had rained; it was foggy; I was making good time and figured I was able to take a couple of miles' detour to find a good outlook over the valley I was driving over that was wet and full of fog, and looking especially photogenic. This was near Breezewood, PA. The temperature had just gotten to freezing, the valley disappeared from view as soon as I took the exit, and at one point I was spinning my wheels in a mud puddle, thinking this would be a really bad time and place to get stuck. Fortunately I got unstuck, found not one but two nice lookouts, and got back onto the turnpike without trouble.

There's a couple of random turnpike photos at the bottom, too. And if you're good I'll even put up some photos from Christmas day.
